Home Confinement: Danny’s Experience 

Danny served a lengthy sentence in federal prison for a marijuana conviction. Despite his best efforts to prepare for success upon release, his case manager did not recommend him for maximum placement in home confinement. Although Congress empowered administrators to lengthen the time that people can spend in home confinement, people in prison sometimes find it difficult to get maximum placement. Danny tells us about his experiences of leaving the federal prison in Lompoc and transitioning to society during his first month in home confinement.
