In a world where change is the only constant, the advent of artificial intelligence (AI) marks a pivotal moment in human history. At Prison Professors Talent, we recognize the transformative power of this technology and its parallels to the rapid changes I witnessed during my own incarceration. The AI Revolution: A New Era of Innovation
Artificial intelligence is reshaping the world as we know it. From healthcare to finance, transportation to education, AI is revolutionizing industries and creating new paradigms. Within a few years, people in prison will likely see robots who work in corrections. I have attended trade shows where I have seen the prototypes. The robot looks like a dog, and it is branded as a tool to help with custody and security. But intelligent robots, I suspect, will also work as teachers and guides to help people in prison.
This technology shift will enhance life for those who prepare. Those who do not prepare may get left behind.
This technological leap reminds me of the seismic shifts I experienced during my sentence. When I began my incarceration, the internet and cell phones were not part of everyday life. Upon release, I had to quickly adapt to these technologies to reintegrate into society successfully.
Today, AI represents a similar leap. It’s a change that is happening at an even faster pace, and its impact is profound. For those in prison, the challenge is to stay informed and prepared for this rapidly evolving world.

Lack of direct access to the latest technologies in prison does not mean one cannot prepare for their implications. Our courses and books are designed to bridge this gap, offering insights into how to use time in prison constructively to understand and prepare for these changes.
