Navigate Your Way to Success
Don’t go through the journey blindly. Do everything within your power, at the soonest possible time, to learn more about the journey ahead. Then, craft a plan that will help you get the outcome you want.
In our video “Coming Up With a Plan for Prison (2020)” we provide our viewers with a different concept of prison. Rather than allowing prison to define the remainder of a person’s life, we suggest creating a plan. If a person learns how to create a plan for the journey through prison, that person can begin engineering a pathway to succeed. At Prison Professors, we aspire to both teach and inspire those who are going into the system—showing strategies that will help them emerge successfully.
We titled the first video in this series:

In How I Got a 45-Year Prison Term, I spoke about how Socrates inspired me. The story of Socrates helped me to begin making better decisions.
While locked inside of a cell, facing a sentence of life-without-parole in the federal system, I knew that I hated being incarcerated. I wanted a better life. The only way to get a better life would be to come up with a plan.
Other people in jail provided guidance. Yet the guidance from other people in prison suggested a pathway that would lead to more time in prison.
If we want a different outcome from prison, we need to create different plans.
